I find it sort of miraculous (and a little frightening) that, in another country, another language, and another currency system, the ATM asks whether you want “checking” or “savings” and if you’d like to know your account balance.
I’d find it hard to believe that today’s tech-savvy kids, growing up on the internet and X-Boxes and Playstations couldn’t understand the nature of an ATM. It’s no different than a vending machine.

Sadly, this is where most kids think money comes from. They have no idea what it takes for their parent to get that money in the bank.
