re: the GM coin: When the lady on the other side gets to be 90, will they do a commemorative GM comic strip? Inflation in Oz must be worse than I thought; a $1 coin hasn’t been issued yet and it already costs $115.
@Ottod: we have had dollar coins since 1966, currently worth about US$1.04. Ginger’s dollar coin has certainly been issued – and sold out; a snip at the price. He’s a popular little fella here.
Her hair will sometimes be tied up, sometimes down- depending on the situation. But I’m glad you agree she looks more motherly than scruffy and outdated. Thanks for the feedback!

Ginger’s mum looks a lot younger with her new hairstyle!@Us Fellers, our $1 coin first appeared in 1984. Decimal currency began in 1966.
