I tried it with 27 and came out with five. Pretty accurate, Sine!

Wonder if it has a function to include (or exclude) for people who aren’t so hot at math?

Yep—x^2 + 10x + 25 is the square of x+5, which leaves 5 minutes. So, I can still waste 3 more minutes.

I thought only Krazy Kat was allowed to throw cartoon bricks.

That’s right, Horace, because little kids might start doing it. They can’t throw anvils, however, so toss one of those at Sine.

Horace, throw MANY bricks at him. After all, the mortar the merrier!

It was Ignatz Mouse who threw the bricks. Krazy was on the receiving end.

Yes, Krazy was the only strip I remember with “lil dollink”

Took longer than 5 min to write it all down and do the math……………….. Will definitely try this with my students!

Dang! to stressed out with the math part, totally missed the allusion to Krazy Kat. One of the best comics ever.
