Dad: What's the apron for? Alice: In a surprise plot twist, I'm also a waitress at a pancake restaurant! Ssh! Don't tell.

I worked with a guy who had a car like that; IIRC, it was a “CitiCar”, all-electric, could hit 40 up the street, with a killer stereo. But yeah, it looked just like a phone booth (not quite a Tardis, too many windows).
