The fine print (between panels 2 and 3) reveals this strip to be originally from 2007. But Alice the Bee-Whisperer (or -Pointer) is relevant to the recent hornet incident. BTW, we had rain today: wipey, wipey went the windshield wipers of my sub-compact….
I have read the strip from the beginning, but I truly don’t mind repeats. Every single strip is adorable, I don’t think I have ever liked a comic as much as I have likes Cul de Sac :-)
As I’ve said before, they don’t make cartoonists like they used to. At least Thompson hasn’t taken any “sabatticals” yet. (Although I wish Trudeau had never come back from the one he took.)
Cul de Sac is the best comic strip out there, on a par with Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes. Richard, you’re doing a great job & deserve some time off. Familiar CdS repeats are still better than most other current strips.
I think it’s odd how I see no difference when I read forwards or backward but when I see an old one compared to the new one it looks so different, the mind is odd.

Yeah, this whole week is going to be repeats. Richard said so in his blog.

It’s good to get to see some of the older strips, being I am a relatively new reader to Cul-de-sac

I think you just got lucky on this one Alice.I’m only a few months into Cul de Sac too so repeats are fine for me !

Well this one contradicts a more recent strip. I too, don’t mind the repeats. I wasn’t reading this strip in ’07.

Maybe this is a rerun because CdS is visiting Elderberries today? Check it out!
