So that’s what happened to my imaginary toad friend.

This is not your dad’s Winnie the Pooh! A frog, a cigar-smoking rabbit, and a pig-snouted alien were playing poker one day with a weasel named Hume in the Hunnert Aker Woods….

Steven Wright said HIS imaginary friend always played with the kids across the street. And either he or Emo Phillips (too tired to Google it) said “I was the kid next door’s imaginary friend.”If somebody already quoted them, I apologise — I’ve been gone a lot the last couple of days and may have missed a few comments.

Alright!! More edgy please, Calvin & Hobbes is already pretty edgy at times, so go the extra mile! This could run for a month! And for Sunday it needs one of those insanely arty Spaceman Spiff panel compositions. Hand it to Waterson! ;)

Hahaha this is brilliant. You’ve reached new depths of rejection when your imaginary friend is hanging out with other peoples’ imaginary friends instead of you.

Which one of them is God? (See today’s “C’est la Vie”.)

Wow, even his imaginary friends don’t want to hang out with him.

I worry about Monty sometimes. How can one individual experience so much rejection in one lifetime. Surely late at night the demons begin to dance.

I never had an imaginary friend. I have an imaginary heckler and a tardying angel. And a trickster god who’s more like a pooka to me.

Think I’ll go out and have a drink or ten, see if Harvey turns up.
