Larsen had some pretty crazy captions. I picked up on The Far Side before it was so hot. There were already two paperbacks out, and I bought ‘em. I was surprised when it became so big. Often, stuff I like isn’t wildly popular.

I remember going to a Gary Larson exhibit in San Francisco. Could hear people laughing out loud as much as I did. Still wish he’d come out of retirement, at least for a little while.
