Okay, he antagonized her but do men realize how much “stuff” women have to do to be presentable?! My husband is ready to walk out the door on an errand at any time, but I have to put in lenses, apply make-up, etc.
You always know you’re going too far… about a step past “too far.” sigh I do the same thing to my wife, Earl. I tell her I tease her to keep her blood pressure from dropping too low. :-)
I do at least try to be truthful about how long I’ll be. I certainly wouldn’t say “I’ll be there in a jiffy” if I was still in my robe with curlers in my hair! Well I don’t use curlers anyway lol but if I’m running behind I’ll honestly say “babe I’m sorry but I’m gonna be another 20 minutes” or whatever. That way he knows he has time to do something else if he wants to while he waits
