Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for May 04, 1992
Transcript:
Calvin: My gum has lost its flavor. When that happens, I don't spit it out. I just add a new piece. After a few packs, it's like chewing a big, soggy sock! My jaws ache and I can't close my lips, so I wheeze through my open mouth and drool! Hobbes: An orifice is an amusing thing, all right. Calvin: Ith funny how you neffa thee gwown-upth do thith.

One of the funniest things I ever saw was a Great Dane that had found and was chewing one of these mega gum wads.
