Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for September 12, 1989
Transcript:
Calvin: Moe, give me my truck back. It's not yours. Moe: It is now. You gave it to me. Calvin: I didn't have much choice, did I?! It was either give up the truck or get punched! Moe: So? Calvin: So I only "gave" it to you because you're bigger than me! Moe: Yeah? ...So? Calvin: The forensic marvel has reduced my logic to shambles. Moe: You're saying you changed your mind about getting punched?

Calvin can explain with deep logic and knowledge of the law that giving an asset under threat of violence does not constitute a legal contract or sale. But Moe will likely repay him with a punch.
That’s the problem with real life.

You could argue at least Calvin’s got balls to stand up to Moe like that.
Well, it’s balls or ballsed up.

Me (to Principal Spittle): I agree that Calvin can be a real handful sometimes, but that doesn’t justify Moe’s bullying.
