What’s a Roomba?

Can anything that small be any good? Surely, it has to be emptied several times per carpet.

Actually they clean very well, their main downfall is they are not very robust and need tinkering. You have to empty and clean them pretty much every run, but the more often you run it the less you need to clean the machine.

My 85 year old Moms swears by her’s. Don’t know if it cleans but it entertains the cat.

^ It’ll suck all of him in and he’ll end up in a tiny room. Bah!

Wait a few minutes, than your room will really be cleaned up.

gir63 – sounds like WAY too much maintenance and like the Roomba then becomes more work and effort than it is worth. Is she setting the suction power on HIGH or the carpet height adjustment on HIGH? More suction looks like it would make the problem worse; might have to check the bag for missing pets, husbands, etc.

at a boy roomba why go after the mess when you can eliminate the source of the mess :D
