The night before we adopted, we had the name game. She opened with Fluffy, I countered with Killer. Cutesy was met with Spike. Almost got away with Fido untill I translated it from Latin. All comic canines (Pluto, Odie, and Ruff) were shot down. As with all compromises, neither side was happy. The puppy has two names, the one she calls him and the one he comes to. The cats call him Hiss.
