Holly’s snark is no match for Alix’s imagination.

Ohh, wonderful! I’ve been waiting all year for the magic pool to come back!

Alix good on you for imaging your little pool. Holly though does have a point. Still will still little sister views.

I’m glad that Alix uses her imagination, even when the jerks who don’t approve of imagination, like Holly, try to pull her down and ruin her fun.

I love the bird catching a fish.

Goodness, people, relax! It’s a comic! Holly’s imagination has moved on to boys; while Alix is still able to imagine a whole world. Yes, Holly can be annoying, but in this episode, she’s only trying to prove to Alix that the new plastic wading pool isn’t dangerous. By the looks of the poor fishy’s departure, it’s not working…

where did the bird find the fish in the last scene??

Hey, don’t you see all those fish shown on that pool?

Last summer there was a story arc involving Alix’s experience in the pool with deep sea diving, underwater treasures of all kinds, etc.

And immediately a bird comes and snatches a fish out. Imagination trumps reality once again.

Alix is awesome. My childhood was filled with everything that I read (and I read a lot). So on any given day the fields surrounding my house could be a jungle, a forest, a pirate ship, a plane (though strangely enough I was afraid of heights), high mountain ranges, city streets, and country roads.

May your imagination never falter.

As regards Holly’s lesson, ya gotta tell it to the birds! And when you do? What happens?!! They don’t agree either!

@saskfan; I don’t think holly is “only” trying to prove to alix that the pool isn’t dangerous. i think she’s trying to be superior and RIGHT as usual. of course that could be because i agree with alix.

What I should have said is, “She’s trying, as usual, to be superior and RIGHT.”
