Calvin: I'm home! Mom: Hi, honey. How did your play go? Calvin: Terrible. I got stuck in my zipper in the bathroom, and they had to stop the play and get a janitor to find me and get me out. Mom: Oh no. That's awful! Calvin: I'll say...the play was ruined. ...But I remembered my line!

He remembered his line, yet neither mom nor dad attended. If they’re not careful, their negligence will cause Calvin to act out in some way.

So after mom telling dad how hard he worked, implying he should be at the play – mom, who doesn’t even work outside the home – didn’t go? what??!!
