Do either Alice or Sofa (or whatever her name is) [and, yes, Gary and Josh, I did read your posts yesterday; I’m just extending a trope here] have any idea whatsoever what “soccer” is?

It seems that Alice has no idea what soccer is all about. Unfortunately, Alice, it doesn’t get any better.

Soccer is about…boring. A bunch of sissy’s running around kicking a little white & black ball.

I’d like to see if you could get away injury-free wearing all that armor.

Having no interest in spectator sports, I won’t take sides in this controversy. All I know about them is that the numbers on the uniforms display the IQs of the players.

American football; takes 3 hours to play, there is actually about 6-7 minutes of action. Now that’s boring!

I don’t know how Alice knows they’re losing if she knows nothing about soccer. Although with Petey on the team, she’s probably right…

In any sport, the boring parts build up anticipation which makes the exciting parts even more exciting! And the less boring parts sorta exciting.

Are they just going to snap the ball and hand it off or pass it while the other team tries to stop them, or are they finally going to start playing some football??!!

I never thought of yelling STOP LOSING at my team… maybe that’ll work for the Timbers.

When my favorite football team is on offense but losing yardage, I love yelling, “You’re going the wrong way!”

Gosh—I love baseball and football. Also enjoy watching golf sometimes. It amazes me how talented some of the athletes are. I’m talented also—just not in sports. :D
