    Lila works 5 to 9….. that’s minutes per hour.

    Legally speaking, however, she can’t be compelled to curtail her break time to make up the lost minutes. She needs to do that at the end of the day or take some kind of penalty on her paycheck if they’re going to be that particular.

    @bdaverin – I read the strip differently; I think the Mentor is saying that since Lila was late, her break should be delayed by that time. So instead of taking break @ 10:15, how about 10:30, for instance.

    But certainly no more than 50% Just enough to keep her job. Maybe 10-20%. Lila must still be Lila!!!

    I think Lila subscribes to the same theory as an old co-worker of mine who used to come in late, then leave early to make up for it.
