I will bake all the ladies one of my “Top Secret Rum Cakes”. It can be a chocolate one if you wish.

There is an “International Men’s” day as well. It is in November I believe. Have to check. In Europe (Especially eastern Europe were it originated) Women’s Day is HUGE, it’s like Mothers Day and Valentine’s Day all rolled into one big Celebration. It is Customary for the men to get flowers and treats for every women in their lives. And if they are married they do all the housework for the day, The women have a day of leisure, being catered to by their men.

In Latin America we have “Children’s Day” on April 30. All the amusement parks let in kids get in and ride for free, and all the game shows are geared toward kids. Hey, ladies, I don’t bake, but would it be acceptable if I buy you a chocolate cake?

Again for Susie (and other ladies), would other sweets (specifically from the lots of desi varieties) than cake work?

to shippingtroll, i think that is very sweet i like it. to The_JAM and prasrinivara, yes i would love it if u brought me a cake, i am not picky cake is cake as long as it does not have cokanut in it or on it. also any other kind of sweets is fine also. i am a sweet aholic. i confess. :D
