Just noticed something a little odd…

Does anyone here have a house with a front door (not a screen door or storm door) that opens outward?

not to mention the decorative handle on the outside with the plain, functional handle on the inside.

I had a dream last night where I heard a knock at the door. When I opened the door there were three Mormons. One of them pushed his way past me into the apartment but I was able to hold the other two back.

Weird

The comment about the door opening outward made me remember that.

Mormon “missionaries” travel two by two in step with each other and they’re young men around 20 years old. If there were three of them something was very wrong!

hey i did not notice that intill you said something. strange. i can not think of any time i have seen one like that.

An outside door would never open outwards. That would put the hinges on the outside, making the door easy to remove.

Picky picky. Why can’t people just enjoy the comic? Mormon missionaries are not ALL male … young women serve their church, also. I don’t know why they seem to be noticed so much less. And often retired couples serve. I’m not Mormon, but I learned a lot living in Utah off and on for 23 years…

My new front door is hung that way on purpose. I live in a small house and it is good for space saving. It opens on to a big deck, so no one gets knocked down. The hinges and door removal thing won’t happen. Too much trouble, and there is always someone nearby. lol

It’s also a safety issue- no room should have a door that opens out, because if something blocked the door you’d be trapped inside.

I have a door that opens outward. Now I am worried.
