If the ocean is on the left when looking at the ship, it would be on the right when looking at Louie

It has nothing to do with Obama or the ACA, so quit trying to blame them. It’s a common practice of many company-provided insurance programs. The same thing happened to me 20-some years ago for a different surgery. And unlike the people on the ACA, I don’t get to pick my plan, it’s take it or leave it.

I go in for surgery next week. But before I am admitted, I need to come up with over 4 grand up front. It’s not the hospital’s rule, it’s the insurance company’s. I have to pre-pay my deductible or they pay for nothing. Such is the state of the American healthcare system.

    At least it’s not ethanol.

    Sounds handy.

Don’t buy Polaroid LED bulbs. They have a “Lifetime Replacement Warranty,” but if you file a claim, all you get is a run-around. It’s been over 8 months and still no replacement.

I always enjoyed watching Snake vs Mongoose at the track.

It’s a badge of honor to be banned by Trump. On a related note, I’ve suspected for some time that his supposed hairpiece is actually implants taken from his armpits and ahem other areas.

I’ve never understood why people will pay $400 and more for a phone but are too cheap to buy a $30 protective case.

A & B batteries weren’t a size, but a type of battery, used to supply power to tube radios. And the correct designation for AA, AAA, C, D, etc. are cells, not batteries. A battery is a bank of two or more single cells. Thus a 9 Volt is a battery, as internally it is comprised of six individual 1.5 Volt cells. Likewise a typical car battery is comprised of six 2 Volt Cells. There are many other letter-named sizes of cell, including F, which is quite common but seldom sold in individual quantities. You’ll generally find them inside 6 Volt lantern batteries and other large portable batteries.
