Now that I don’t have to go to work - I love snow! Being in the monemt is the best.

Ours was a snow fail. Weather report said possible over night, but if it happened, it melted. Same report for tonight, but heck, it’s Virginia. I’m not hopeful.

Uh….never mind. We’ve got snow. It probably won’t stick, but I don’t really care :-D

So Holly be enterprising and go offer to shovel snow for neighbours and earn a few bucks. Nah she’d never do that.

Anyone watch the morning News. South Texas got a record amount of snow yesterday.

Alix is young enough that she can enjoy the snow..Holly will be handed a snow shovel and told to go outside and start shoveling! I hated when I got old enough to be told to shovel. Now I live in Orlando..no shoveling for me!

What does South Texas call a record? I’ve seen headlines that said New York City shut down when they got 2” of snow. To us up here in Montreal that’s just a joke, when we get numerous storms over 3” every year… or we used to, but not in the last few seasons - now it’s more likely to rain.

I love the double-whammy punchline! Holly’s reaction was a good gag, but then it was quickly topped by Alex.

The northeastern US (new york, new england) doesn’t typically shut down until there are reports of like, 5 - 6 inches. It’s just a pain in the butt for traffic and major cities and we’re famous for whining about the cold.

in Houston tx we got about an inch or more. for here that is a BIG deal

The schools in NYC didn’t close wen there was one foot of snow. You must be referring to Washington DC.

Hey, out here in Northern California, we’re going to be having severe cold RAIN next week, but we can take it…
