    Mr. Miller’s continued attacks on the Dept. of Homeland Security are, of course, his right under the First Amendment.

    I only hope he doesn’t fall into the standard trap of liberal hypocrisy of blaming DHS for a terrorist attack after he has spent years trying to hamstring the very people sworn to protect him.

    As this strip was published just over a year after the 9/11 attacks, I hold little hope for this………

    @Claymore: He is clearly pointing out that the simplifications of the Bush administration and the claim that every criticism of them would be a win for the terrorists is anti democratic.

    But to the “credit” of conservatives: When a Democrat was LEGALLY ELECTED as president dissent became patriotic again while it was close to treason to them when Bush was in office.

    In the past 30 years about 3,500 Americans have been killed by terrorists in the entire world.

    About 3,500 Americans are shot by Americans in America every 7 weeks.

    The problem is not terrorists. It is other Americans.
