The Fall From Grace happens (always use present tense when discussing fiction) because God doesn’t child-proof the garden, and leaves something dangerous where his barely-more-intelligent-than-a-platypus, infants-in-all-but-physical-form kids can get at it easily. And then proceeds to blame them instead of himself.
