In all seriousness, I wouldn’t be surprised that is how very young girls do get ideas about those serious eating disorders and how to develop them. Long time ago it was the monthly magazines, and today it is those harmful internet sites. The girls (and I suppose the boys too) not wanting to be the odd one out, if they are part of such a group, follow each other. Of course, those conditions might have other psychological reasons to manifest themselves, but I think it all begins with peer pressure and with having some kind of model behavior to follow.
