If you elect to resize your image postimage.org may not respect the aspect ratio of the original. When you add the width modifier (i.e. width="350">) – without the height modifier – to the tag the users browser will automatically set the image height while maintaining the original aspect ratio. The first image is straight from BING Images, the second I downloaded (Save image as) and cropped out the white space and uploaded to Photobucket. The third image is the Thumbnail for Website code of the cropped image uploaded to postimage.com and resized to 320×240.The fourth image is the Thumbnail for Website code of the cropped image uploaded to postimage.com without resizing.Original ________ Cropped __ Resized ______ Not resizedThe advanatage of resizing your image using postimage.com (or by other means) is that when a user opens a page (forum) comtaining your image they’re not having to import a hugh image that is rezed by the browser, which can effect bandwidth usage.Code for each image. (original 499×800) (uploaded image 135×785)
