if you read my previous post in the two milliseconds it was on, i apologize, Dry. there was no call for me to ask about breakfast when it was only the second post.

Well C R A P, if no one’s coming to breakfast, I’ll take my meal elsewhere!

btw, i’ll have the western omelette with jalapeno peppers, an english muffin with apple butter (i love apple butter, especially if it’s home made) and some Earl Grey tea. thank you, Dry.

it’s what happens to me a lot. i seem to have a knack for what i call cross typing - the act of posting a comment at the same time as someone else is doing likewise. has your sn*w (don’t want to type the whole four letter word) stopped falling yet?

yyyguy yes it’s stopped, snow plows and salt trucks are out now. we didn’t get it as bad as DC.

yeah, i read some of MoPar’s comments about the friend who was heading back to DC. hope it worked out.

hey Lewreader i try not to diet. every time i do, it seems i gain weight instead of losing it. but i have to do something about the excess tonnage. i won’t go into actual numbers, but let’s just say i won’t be wearing anything in red until Boxing Day.

well, it’s 2:00 am and i’ve rewound my way back to the beginning. i’ll be back, after some time in the horizontal position, to greet one and all once more. (& no Shika moves tonight, either.) just time for a quick deposit into the Karma Bank before i log off.

sorry to hear that. i was on earlier, trying to upload more of my photos on to face book, but was having problems. most of the new ones are ones i took at some point, some are family photos of which i have copies. it’s just random memories, but you might get a chuckle out of seeing some of my “looks” over the years.

Hi, tribe! I’m not done with my comic rounds yet, but decided to pop in to tell Doc that kirbey has inquired about his bio on Argyle Sweater. I thought about answering for Doc, but decided to let him have the honor.

It is still dry here, temp 51F. However, the wet, white stuff is supposed to show up on Wednesday - the day we’re leaving by car for Florida. I hope we don’t end up driving in that frozen stuff much. It isn’t surprising that Florida is experiencing a cold wave, just that it didn’t wait until I got there, like it usually does.

I haven’t had as many problems with getting kicked off the internet connection as I have these last 4-5 days! It gets irritating to say the least!

Good to see you, too! I’m going to be very busy the next few days, but mostly at home, so I’ll probably be popping in & out. We did our family’s Christmas yesterday morning, so I had time to wash the new clothes before I pack them for our trip. (My husband hates to wear new jeans before they are washed!) I had a very long to-do list for yesterday. Didn’t get it all done, but at least most of it. But I’ve got a lot of stuff to still do before we leave early Wednesday.

Rmom, I need them washed first also! LOL

Terry - I was in the middle of typing my last post when the phone rang. It was my in-laws trying to get our schedule, what foods to have on hand for us to eat, etc.

My bread is done, so I’m gone. It’s been a long day.

Rmom, no I don’t think it is a Vista problem. I’ve had Vista on this laptop since I got it in August and this just started this bad. I’ve got Windows 7 upgrade(FREE w/ the ‘puter) so I just need to take the time to install it!

Terry - This computer came with Vista, and I’ve had it since about April or May 2007. I didn’t have that problem until the last couple of months or so. But I wondered if maybe an upgrade could be causing a problem?

Terry - I’ll have to check with my family, because I’m not sure what OS all the computers have, but I know they don’t ALL have Vista, so that might help narrow it down. I just checked with my hubby, who has several computers, none of which run on Vista, and he’s not having that problem. I’ll have to check with my geek son about our other computers, and see if happens on only the Vista OS.

and hello, again, to everyone else. i’m back for a bit, just looking up some stuff i caught sight of last night, and thinking about a new avatar while i’m on here. didn’t watch any NFL today. though the Vikings are probably still on, i don’t think it matters enough to me to find out. probably better off doing the laundry (like i’m supposed to be doing) but i’ll probably get up early tomorrow to do it.

LOL, actually - that was bed time. I stayed up until nearly 6 am, then crashed for about 5 hours. i got up to watch the soccer (English Premier League) and read the paper, then watched the junior hockey game with our local team. finally did a quick stop by earlier, and now i’m back again after eating dinner. real exciting day. (snerk)

MoPar thought this looked like santa claus. now i ask you all, “not a chance, right?”

yyyguy, that ‘83 Winterhawks team also turned out 2 no names like Cam Neely & Mike Vernon!! They were also the Memorial Cup champs.

I got the vehicle that needed repairing done and delivered and paid for. So I in essence I got quite a bit done considering the lack of shut eye!

yeah i thought they might have been champs, but i wasn’t sure. i wasn’t aware that Vernon & Neely both came from that team. Benning, who had a pretty decent career without becoming a star, was the only one i remembered - and that was due to the Leafs connection. a friend of mine’s wife was a huge Steve Yzerman fan from when he played his junior hockey in Peterborough. she’s from a little town not too far away from there.

okay going to try to watch 7 pounds on my computer in quite while ana watchs her movie. wish me luck. bbl maybe tomorrow.

sorry, Terry i saw a little thing last night while googling “Rudolph the red-nosed Reindeer” and was checking it out. it was an 8 minute cartoon from the 40’s but one thing led to another and a half hour went by before i knew it.

I didn’t know that Tigers drooled when they slept.

so tabby has had enough excitement for one day.

Ana just fell out of the bed about 20 mins ago. poor baby, well i told her not to jump in the bed not to be silly and roll and play in the bed (get your heads out of the gutter she is 3 for goodness sake) she was being silly and laying on the edge and rolled right out onto her face. she has some markings on her nose now. funny looking they are fading, you know how when i kneel for to long u get markings? well markings like that from hitting the floor so hard. i laughed after she stoped crying and was okay. she wanted my dad right away even asked for him when i picked her up. so i had to go wake him up for her. poor baby.

well back to the movie she is home now. peace and love all i may fall asleep on it again
