I am trying to decide, whether these kind of issues from the 80s have been resolved. i think maybe we just don’t give a crap anymore.

This was an issue because the media made it one. They’ve moved on to other things. So should we.
Heh. I used to have this one on my bulletin board when I was in high school — mostly for Opus’ sensitive portrayal of “Ralph”. (Hmm, maybe it was better in color.)
And the femenization of America’s men, is still going on.
