He asks: "We're supposed to read 'Gulliver's Travels' during Christmas vacation, and write a report on it! Have you started yet?"<BR><BR> "STARTED? I did mine right away so I wouldn't have to worry about it during vacation." Violet walks off.<BR><BR> "I hate your kind!" Charlie Brown shouts after her.<BR><BR>

I don’t believe homework should be assigned over Christmas vacation.

Yes, I, too, had always admired Violet’s idea-to get a big homework assignment out of the way and over with RIGHT AWAY, so you can even ENJOY, say, Xmas vacation, without feeling any guilt(over not having done it.) Violet’s example is a good one to follow.
