A lot of it depends on the franchise holder (I think that’s the right term). I’ve been to good Taco Bells and I’ve been to bad ones. The company simply doesn’t demand the same standards across the board as Micky D’s—to name one—does That’s why finding a truly rotten McD’s is a rarity. Corporate control.
It begs the question, if they stopped in to lose their appetite, who picked out the menu for the reception? If they picked it, shouldn’t it have been something they wanted to eat!?

As long as you’re not expecting true Mexican food, and lower your standards far enough TBell is passable.
