A someone who holds the middle ground between both extremes, I love that this is truthful in BOTH directions.
When Russia first invaded Ukraine, I only had FM available to me on my iPod, so I’d tune into NPR for “Democracy, Now” with Amy Goodman for news. As time went by, I could accept the opinions put forward, but NOT the lack of challenge. So, YES, NPR needs to clean up its act – it’s NOT enough to say, “Well, we’re not as bad as FOX!” That’s setting a LOW bar.
I could be mistaken, but I believe somewhere in that “book” they seem to believe in so fervently, (and that Trump is "hawking for $59.95) there is reference to, " First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye…"

“If you’re very, very stupid, how can you possibly realize that you’re very, very stupid?
You’d have to be relatively intelligent to realize how stupid you really are.
This explains almost the entirety of Fox News." (and the gop) -John Cleese

Yeah, whatabout-ism — but it needed to be said.
PBS is a venerable non-profit American institution, — local outlets funded by private contributions and fundraisers, grants & endowments.
Virtually scandal-free in its entire existence — (who does that?) they are the good guys in all this.
PBS is dedicated to public service, and their longstanding reputation for excellence and integrity speaks for itself.
Even mentioning the Fox commercial propaganda vultures in the same breath as our own beloved national non-profit is kind of bizarre. PBS rocks!

Instead of reporting on gay people, you need to denigrate them

I’m just waiting for the day Uri Berliner gets himself a pundit job at fox. It’s gotta pay more than working for a non profit.

You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
