My dad actually had a nickle coin from the “turn nickles into dimes” trick. One face of the nickle is missing, and has a sheet of steel, so you hide a dime under the nickle and palm a magnet as you wave your hand over the nickle.
Why can’t comic books have ads for Coca-Cola or Hershey bars? Legitimate products that kids might want to buy. Instead it’s cheap mail-order trinkets or pyramid schemes.
(senses a certain Leo Bachle (“Les Barker”) in this “COMICS SECTION”)

That “AURORA” logo looks very similar to the logo for AURORA model kits. They made a series of kits highlighting the Universal Studios monsters. I made them all except Dracula. He scared me. I have since “converted” Frankenstein’s monster and The Creature from the Black Lagoon into bookends. Wolfman and The Mummy are placed in locations around the house. One is always in a guest bathroom when guests are expected.
I LOVE the retro feel of this. Very charming. Brings me back to the days where I couldn’t wait to read the comics in the paper. The old ads on the side are a nice touch.
Once again ….. Bear …… you’re confusing the wrong apple (eatable) with Apple computer …….. even though you “DID” eat Molly’s Apple computer ….. never mind Bear ……. easy to eat apple is what Molly is saying …… ;)

Yes, Apple is selling they Mac for less with a lot less. If you need more speed, memory, storage to do normal tasks you need to pay a lot more.

Yeah, but Macs are much cooler than PCs.

Love the look of today’s strip. I guess eating all of those computers gave Bear some useful knowledge on the subject.☺️
