Death and Taxes go together like a horse and carriage.

Judging from dad’s reaction, he’s met Death at the door before.

This reminds me of an incident that happened to a friend of mine once. He and hid Dad were namesakes, senior and junior. There was a ring of the doorbell. When senior opened the door, he saw that there were two men on the doorstep. They presented FBI ID’s and informed him that they were looking for “Mr. [name here without the generational modifier].” Senior immediately replied: “You want to talk to my son.”

I suppose that having Death at your door beats you being at Death’s door.

Would it kill you to file your taxes on time!?!

Death is at all of our doors… but not before you pay you taxes!

Tax Day isn’t such a drama now that we have a CPA. The IRS is accommodating, they can take money or return money to our checking acct. Mostly, it’s taking…

Death AND taxes?—it doesn’t get any more certain than this!

Congress critters seem to think that we exist for their benefit.

Did he bring his W2s, 1099s, and travel receipts? Who does the IRS have that wants to audit him and tell him he doesn’t get a refund?

Non-American here, requiring a little help. Something to do with taxes?

I finally bit the bullet and started filing quarterly estimated payments. It’s easier than withholding on SS.

It is a deadline.

Here in san diego county the irs gave us two extra months because of mass flooding in january. On the bright side, I was able to pick up clearance prices on tax software last week!
