Not a recent development by any means. I worked the census in 2010. My beat was basically the large apartment complex where I lived. In one 2-bedroom unit there were SIX residents—all 20-somethings. In the 12 years since I left that area the price has surely doubled.

Tell me about it. They just raised my rent again (happens annually). They are pricing me out of the apartment I call home.
