Stopping by for a moment to say hello. Got a busy afternoon, fixing my weekday lunches, chicken nuggets for supper, cleaning kitchen, tying fender back on car…..

Yes, some bozo whacked me in the parking lot at work. Morning everything was ok. Come out to go home and there’s a gap between the top section of the front of the car and the fender that wraps around. It seems stable, but I’m gonnna tie some rope around it and the car to relieve some of the strain I’m sure is happening.

Sigh It’s like the fates are conspiring to get together to make me get a new car. I figure if those truly awful rattletraps manage to do the job for their owner, then mine should be ok with a loop or two of rope.

Hello Tribe Thank you for the kind remarks of sympathy and story swapping. I know I”m not the only one tread upon, but sometimes it does seem like the Universe has it in for me.

But my sons came out to see what I was doing with the rope and had a stroke when he learned I was going to tie up the fender. A tender mother-son moment later he’s going to take the car in to his mechanic and pay for the repair. It doesn’t have to be pretty, just functional. He wants me to call my insurance company, but I know I have a $500 deductible, hopefully the repair will be less than that.

Anyway, my lunch is ready (basis, Hamburger Helper Potato Stroganoff) and working my way through supper (chicken chunks, french fries and cheese queso made with that American favorite, Velveeta)

Meanwhile, I wish all the best karma on the Tribe and their families.

Quaby - Glad to hear it will be fixed better than just using a rope! Having that happen can sure be agrivating.

Good evening all. When I mentioned my son and Walmart. He was a senior in HS working part time at Star Lumber. After work he parked in Walmart parking lot a little ways from the store. I believe he went inside to get a drink. When he came out he noticed some people by his car. They told him someone was driving and hit one side of his headlight out. Then that person left the parking lot. He then came home as Walmart is not responisble for someone else hitting his car and no licence tag written. A week later we had to get head light fixed. At that time we lived in a smaller town. Quaby I’m glad not going to cost you that much. For us this did cost us more.
