Why do so many want to let China spy on us? Just another example of how the Communists have taken over the Democrat Party – their strategy since the late 80s.
In the 1960s if you listened to shortwave radio and requested/received a QSL card(card that confirmed you tuned in the station) from a communist country-Radio Moscow/Havana/Hanoi…) you were reported by the Post office to FBI and put on a watchlist.
Controlling “social media”? It won’t happen! The cat is out of the bag, Pandoras’s box has been opened, the horses have left the barn, the ship has sailed, etc. etc. etc. And if you think big government isn’t privy to your posts; think again.
Fear of the unknown, fear of those different, paranoia, chronic suspicion [based on gossip, innuendo], disrespect/distrust [especially of allies and fellow citizens], and dishonesty are not good traits for a federal representative in the view of those who still love their country and want to see it governed wisely.
The Chinese can find out all they want from Facebook, X and a million other social sites. Our national security is in grave danger with the Chinese knowing we love cat videos, science fiction stories and red pandas. Congress wants to kill TicToc to stop all of the videos on line that make them look like idiots.

The Chinese know more about you than you do. Should make a takeover fairly easy.

Social media is relied on overly much.
Sorry. Not feeling chatty. I likely have a kidney stone. Again. If you kind folk will excuse me, I think the jello is coming back up. Again.

Didn’t the Soviet Union block Voice America/Radio Free Europe because the broadcasts were lies/propaganda?
