A company I worked for in the 1970s posted the daily stock price in the cafeteria. The president walked in one noon and cursed, " It will be zero soon! "All the employees had stock options, from top to bottom. All worthless because the strike price was so much higher than the real price. The president recast all the stock options to that low price but extended the due date one year to keep the SEC happy. Everyone ended up doing well. That president was Jerry Sanders, one of the founders of AMD.
