I saw this before I read yesterday’s strip. In addition to the rating he commented on the color of the jacket. He should have either said nothing or made a brief statement about something in the story.
I got poor grades up through high school. For instance, in the 9th grade I aced all the tests, but because I never turned in homework, my final grade was a C.
