Shame your right wing media is incapable of telling the truth. The American economy has recovered better than most.

Nicely done! Someone is ready for Paris.

The expected recession didn’t happen. Thank you, President Biden.

Yet polls show that more Americans think that Trump will be better for the economy. Are we a nation of idiots?

That the recession didn’t happen was a tragedy for Republicans. They were hoping and praying for a recession.

    Because patriotism.

I know quite a few people who are rather moderate and not Trump supporters who are simply unaware of this and still think thing are too expensive and do not think beyond that, Biden needs to get the message out big time, the Democrats seem to have a very poor fighting mood and poor message machine. My Wife follows the economy daily as a hobby and sees so much Bigly improvement it is amazing. Gotta bang our own drum.

I generally don’t worry about the economy, unless people who bother to vote decide to put the GQP in charge of it. Bad things are guaranteed to happen when that occurs.

While our economy may be performing very well, the question asks “For whom?” My guess is Landlords, and Investors and corporate officers.

Considering how many look at the price of gas as the primary indicator, EVERYONE should be feeling good about the economy. I’m paying less than $3/gallon — something I never did during the Trump misadventure.

The orange menace is taking advantage of winning two primaries to strong-arm his supporters in Congress to vote against bills to help our nation. He doesn’t like the fact that the Biden administration is being successful. He hates our country and is totally self serving. He doesn’t want them cooperating with the Democrats to make things better for everyone.

A better way to look at the economy is not the monthly unemployment report. What you should be concerned with is the % of working age people, well, working. It continues to go down. Now it’s around 64%. That means 36% of people that are of working age aren’t. Guess they’d rather stay home and live off the fat of the land than go out and face the real world. I’m thinking video games and edibles are contributing.

The economy is strong, and the average job search is measured in hours, not weeks. Furthermore, people are seeing their retirement accounts prosper. Business is keeping their cards close to their vest, but by mid-summer, they will have written off Trump and the Republicans. All Trump promises is chaos and retribution, and the only economy he cares about is the one that profits himself.

While ignoring the passing of an infrastructure bill and the economic recovery (although prices remain high as business refuse to lower them now that they’re raking in the profits), Perp45 is pushing to sabotage an immigration reform bill in the Senate to relieve the pressures on the southern border so he can continue to hammer on “them” as an issue. The bill would also provide aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. McConnell and other Senators, including Repubs, though, are manuvering around him to hopefully bring it to a vote.

There is a continuous theme in the media that our schools used to be great, but now are failing to teach critical thinking. This is why we are stuck with a large number of people who believe Trump and swallow the Republican lies without much thought. Apparently those who subscribe to this notion are victims of the problem they are describing. Few young people are MAGAts. The typical MAGAt is white, male and at least 40. If the schools failed them, they weren’t so great back then and are doing a better job now.

    Fox News et al.:

“No one in this world, so far as I know—and I have searched the records for years, and employed agents to help me—has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people. Nor has anyone ever lost public office thereby. – H.L. Mencken

Yes sure we are all living in the lap of luxury , maybe understand economy and gdp and goverment spending before you claim victory. 3.3 gdp might have been better than expected just cause of 30% of it came from goverment but its not a great number, GH bush average growth was 4.1 and “its the economy stupid” lost the election and his infsaltion was way lower too. This is like everyone expecting you to come in last in a race of 100 ppl and you came in in 95th place.. and you call yourself a medalist

Every Republican/conservative president since 1929 has had a depression or recession, some had two. Last year conservatives were telling everyone we were in a recession when we were not, and now tRump is calling for a recession just to benefit himself with election. It’s how conservatives manage an economy. conservatives govern and manage the economy only for themselves, not for all the American people.

Hey, Mr Bennett, everybody knows that the economy is in the tank. Of course, this “everybody” feels OK about their own situation, can read the numbers, notes that regular gasoline is (slightly) under $4 a gallon. Well, maybe not "everybody"—a gaggle of broadcasters at Fox Noise seems to be convinced that the only reason people aren’t going around in rags is that they’re in denial.
