Poor Henri didn’t stand a chance. I remember learning that, in addition to being only 4’8”, and dying in his 30s, he had a hook nose, bad teeth that caused constant pain, a receding chin, a lisp, and he drooled. Toulouse-Lautrec Syndrome was named for him.
[dressed as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and singing] Chief Insp. Jacques Clouseau : Thank heaven for the little girls. They keep getting smaller every day.
Something of a reach, Sunday in the Park having been painted by Georges Seurat. Toulouse-Lautrec actually did paint a dog named Follette that looks remarkably like this one. Some of his other known dogs were named Flèche, Margot, and possibly one named Touc. He painted many dogs.

Only thing missing here is a rolled up newspaper in Follette’s paw.
