At least Cathy did it ‘her way’. She didn’t actually lose anything – her investments are all hanging in her closet – never worn.
It is a fun day today. They are doing the concrete pour for the footings for rebuilding the retaining wall. Interesting to watch concrete being pumped 250’ – from this side of one neighbour’s yard (he has a good road from the street to the beach) to 1/4 of the way across the neighbour’s yard on the other side where the rebuild wall ends. The crew are hardworking and do know what they are doing so it has been a pleasure to watch since the work started on Monday. Fortunately the lake level is rising slowly so we should have no trouble finishing the work before the water reaches the new wall.
