That’s one energetic leaf

Let’s “leaf” them be. They’re definitely having fun here.

This is actually cute. It reminds me of my dogs playing, then they just stop, and then continue.

Regarding “Garfield Classics” being removed from this site, I thought I would post one more time on something that I posted in a few of yesterday’s comments. I am just as upset as most of you about the Classics cartoon being eliminated, and with no warning whatsoever that it was going away. I’m afraid that is going to become the fate of other cartoons on this site. I am therefore trying to drum up some interest in another comic that some of you may not have read or are not aware is on CG. This site has really not given any support, enthusiasm or promotion for what is likely one of the absolute best classic comic series on these pages, so I will do that for them.

If you have not checked it out before now, I would highly recommend “Bozo” by Foxo Reardon. It has been posted on GC by Foxo’s son, Michael Reardon. It is the first truly pantomime strip that ran in the newspapers. You can read the full story of Francis Xavier Reardon in the “About” section of the comic page. Foxo (as he was known) was a truly gifted artist and comic writer. The details in each comic strip are downright amazing. The series of “Bozo” on CG originally ran from 1946 until Foxo’s untimely passing in November 1955. The strips are a visual and comedic treat. The group of us that comment on an almost daily basis keep everything lighthearted and fun and clean, and we do not discuss daily events. That’s what the editorial comics are for. Take a look if you’re interested, and feel free to subscribe if you so choose. We’d love to have you join our group of classic comic enthusiasts!

Shouldn’t that be “Leaf! Leaf! Leaf!…”?

Neither of them takes life very seriously, and I’m like that too so why not play in their case and entertain myself either through playing games or numerous other things.

Took me a while to think about if Garfield took Odie on the play date, undtil I saw that the leaf is panting! :D

Odie shall catch that annoying leaf even if it is the last thing he ever does.

Today it should be “guest appearance by Garfield”…

Anybody here know what has happened to “Garfield Classics” its simply gone, I have tried searching for it all over GoComics multiple times and can not find it anywhere.

Watching Odie makes Garfield tired.

The one thing I don’t really like about Garfield- these strips usually are made for kids most likely, so look at the last word.
