Stop looping ALL Palestinians into this. This is Hamas’ fault. It’s Hamas’ rage and hate that are causing this. Hamas took control of Gaza. Hamas hates the Palestinian people almost as much as they hate Jews. They certainly see the Palestinian people as acceptable sacrifices in the Hamas-driven death-to-all-Jews mission.
Isreal needs to support the Palestinian authoritie as a legitimate counter to Hamas. If they were to work with the PA and stop the settlements in the west Bank the Palestinians could see that peace is possible But instead the Isreali right wing keeps building settlements even though most of Isreal sees the expansion of settlements as an obstacle to peace.
The Day of Judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say, ‘O Muslim, O servant of God, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’ – Islamic hadith.
How do you attempt to bargain for peace with people who have these beliefs?
Sarah Miller · I am the grandchild of Holocaust survivors. I studied in Haifa, lived in Jerusalem, and worked for the Israeli ambulance service, Magen David Adom, during the second intifada, a time of horrific suicide bombings in Jerusalem. I have heard every argument on every side of my people’s tragic matzav and still find it near impossible to have a rational discussion about it here, where direct knowledge is low, emotions are high, and polarization is strong. But it is important to say this: I do not blindly “stand with Israel,” as much as I ache for my people. I am embarrassed for the local politicians who say they do, with little if any direct understanding, in order to curry favor with the Jewish community. I also believe that the pro-war rally held by our Jewish Federation was deeply misguided – as were statements of Palestinian solidarity, at the very same time as vicious terror attacks against Israelis – as if justifying and condoning those attacks. We have to be against these things wherever they occur, first and foremost. Our liberation, safety, and stability is always tied up with the liberation, safety, and stability of our neighbors. In the lands of Palestine and Israel this has always meant two states. We have not (yet) seen the leadership to carry this out, but it’s our only hope.
There is no justification for what Hamas has done. However, just as there are sects of Islam committed to the destruction of Israel, there are rabbis who profess that Jewish domination of Arabs is destiny (Rabbi Yaakov Wolbe is one). Yes, negotiated peace is a far reach.
peace must start somewhere. If the Israelis would not have allowed Incursions on lands that were Palestinian’s land to begin with, (West bank, Gaza, etc. ), it would not have stopped the conflict immediately, but it would have made war with Israel seem less necessary when lives lost out-weighed danger to either sides threat to loss of territory.

Slitting the throats of children, women, old women. My, what brave freedom fighters those un-human savages are!

A piece of you here and a piece of you there. None of your neighbors want a piece of you because you don’t want peace.

We won’t have peace until the Palestinians learn to be content with living in their concentration camps.

Jews are doing to the Palestinians as Putin is doing to the Ukrainians. They are pretending that lands once theirs must be theirs forever.
