Blue cities have issues that are mostly self inflicted. Remember when they bragged about being sanctuary cities. Defund the police. Tax the rich. And on and on.

And so now finding themselves being choked off from revenue as their economies suffer, workers leave, homeless increase, demand for services skyrocket, and illegals are flowing in for sanctuary, they need a scapegoat.
