Daphne also said that she and Nate make a good team, so that’s a good compliment to take.

It’s so cute seeing them as friends, I think I might actually like them better this way.

I am not used to Jenny and Nate acting like friends

I"m honestly happy to have an arc of this comic that makes me excited to read it again. It feels after getting really reptitious for a while Lincoln Pierce is trying some new things, such as the chad and didi focused arc, and now a romance arc but one that’s structured diffrently, has Nate build up a diffrent kind of chemistry with his new love intrest, and involves Jenny in a way that gives her a purpose beyond either artur’s girlfirend or “that girl what nate creepily hit on a lot”.

jenny talking to nate alone makes this arc probably a top tier

Strip rating: 5/10 I’m starting to get a bit impatient with this arc now…

A good strip, I like how Jenny seems to be friends with Nate now and Peirce didn’t just throw the same running joke about her being annoyed at Nate everytime he breathes.

B+ Strip, Arc is turning out good

I love how this went from Gina wondering why people don’t like her to Gina and Nate switching lab partners to Nate having a crush on Daphne with Jenny also getting involved completely out of nowhere. Absolutely legendary

Since the summer camp relationship several years ago, this is best shot Nate has had. So it is not like Nate likes her as much as Nate likes every girl but this one he thinks he may have a chance with.

That’s probably the nicest thing a girl ever said about him… poor Nate. I like this chat between he and Jenny more and more. Her role in the strip may change a lot.

This is turning out to be interesting… but what was the point of Gina asking “Why don’t people like me?” at the start of this arc? Plus, what was with the whole Chad thing? There was honestly a whole week that was wasted on such a random plotline that was never brought up again.

I can guess Nate is gonna ask her out, but won’t daphne and gina being friends get in the way? Daphne couldn’t have heard great things about nate so maybe she’ll be weirded out. (i do hope they get together though)

Week 4 has been okay so far, but this is probably the first really decent joke (last week’s was okay)! I like Nate’s genuine excitement at it! Low bar XD

I think it’s kind of weird that JENNY of all people is Nate’s wing-woman for this arc. I guess pierce is trying to show that they still can be friends.
