I would have done much better in school if anyone had ever explained to me the difference between compare and contrast. (Compare and contrast “compare” and “contrast”?) Hey, if you mean similarities and differences, why not say so?!
Are you talking about the candy bar? I remember there was a fourth musketeer, but I can’t remember his name. I read one of those books called The Man in the Iron Mask when I was in high school because the English teacher would want book reports on classics.
One of the most exciting, stirring books I have ever read. An absolute page-turner, with sword-fights and derring-do seemingly on every page. And the characters of Athos, Porthos, and Aramis are all archetypes of literature, ever since there has been literature. Do yourself a favor, dad. Read the book.
Athos was a Count who walked away from his estate after his wife’s betrayal, Porthos was looking for a rich widow to keep him in the style to which he wanted to be accustomed, and Aramis had leanings towards priesthood.

Compare them with d’Artagnan. He was the interesting one.

Don’t forget Shemp. And then there were four…
(I know! With Curly Joe and Joe Derita there were six, but four goes better with BigBoy’s comment…)
