In addition to weaponizing and LYING every issue — which DeSantis latest stunt vividly demonstrates — Republicans also must engage in Continuous Campaigning.

Actual governing is the absolute lowest priority for any Republican — they are not good at it anyway because they are absolutely not interested and spend zero time attempting to develop or implement solutions to any issue.

Its largely seasonal population likely believed they would never have to host anyone other than affluent white liberals and the Obamas, who own a 29-acre, $11.75 million property on the island.

‘Compassion’Vineyard residents claim to have responded with “compassion” — so much compassion that they provided basic support for less than 24 hours before begging the internet for donations from even guiltier white liberals. That’s more than a bit rich, so to speak, on an island where an estimated 63% of the million-dollar homes are unoccupied outside of the summer months.

But this did not occur to Lisa Belcastro, coordinator of the island’s homeless shelter, who informed the local media that “at some point in time [the illegals] have to move somewhere else . . . We don’t have housing for 50 more people.”

Even if the summer residents don’t want to open their doors or wallets, surely no high-minded Vineyard worthies would mind if the four children reportedly in the group made generous use of their many swimming pools. What could be more compassionate? What could be more inclusive?

“We embrace you,” tweeted Warren’s Senate colleague Ed Markey from the comfortable remove of his Capitol Hill office. If Markey is being honest, DeSantis should charter Cape Air’s entire fleet and send hourly flights carrying more new Massachusetts residents to enjoy the sunsets from East Chop Lighthouse. No doubt Markey will be right there, making sandwiches and telling them how to vote in their new country.

It isn’t just that the left is lying about Ron Desantis. They’re doing so by totally ignoring what their own party has done until this point. They’re not focusing on how the Biden Administration has effectively ignored the southern border with the help of the media which has allowed for the situation at the border to get out of hand. They’re also ignoring the statements made by Democratic politicians in, say, New York, Washington, DC, and Chicago, who have all stated that their large cities are unable to take care of the few migrants who have been sent there.

The left would rather lie to Americans and tell them to ignore what’s going on. All the while, they’d like the towns and cities along the southern border to take in all the migrants because they don’t want to deal with any of them.

Dims would rather virtue signal than protect women:Police said Alfaro is possibly linked to at least 21 sexual assaults in the area and in some cases, they said he was naked. Before his arrest, in a separate 2021 case, Alfaro was wanted for attempted rape and sexual assault in Suffolk County, New York — another sanctuary jurisdiction.

In that case, Suffolk County police said Alfaro attacked a woman who was jogging and attempted to rape her. Alfaro was allegedly wearing only a tank top at the time.

At the time of the alleged sexual assault in New York, Alfaro had been deported from the U.S. three times, according to officials at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.

Like New York state, Fairfax County has sanctuary policies on the books that prevent local law enforcement from turning criminal illegal aliens over to ICE agents for arrest and deportation.

Alfaro remains in police custody in Fairfax County. ICE officials have filed a detainer to request that Alfaro be turned over to their custody if he is released at any time. In 2019, the New York Post reported how the city had sent homeless families to 373 cities across the U.S. with the rent provided by the SOTA program, and that between 2017 and 2019, 12,482 people had been exported to 32 states and Puerto Rico. A 2017 deep dive by The Guardian in 2017 found that under a prior iteration of the program set up by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, approximately 650 people had been flown out of the country altogether.

The nation’s capital has dabbled in similar behavior, although allegedly not to the same extent. In 2017, The Washington Post reported how multiple homeless families were given bus tickets to North Carolina – something homeless advocates mockingly referred to as “bus ticket therapy.”

Other liberal enclaves that have, or have had programs giving bus tickets to the homeless to get out of town include Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon – where a 2019 New York Times report found that 383 people has been bussed in a single year.

Some liberal areas have also engaged in migrant bussing themselves. Most recently, the Democrat-run city of El Paso has been sending buses to New York, but has so far escaped the same criticism heaped on the Republican governors. Mayor Adams praised El Paso for coordinating with New York City, unlike the governor of Texas, who he said had not.
