Shay-Gin and Tracy finally meet. She says it’s too late, but it’s only too late to save Marina — it’s not yet too late to save the Earth from invasion, and Shay-Gin likely heard all the plans at the meeting, so Tracy will now have those last pieces of the puzzle.

Makes no sense to kill Marina and let Shay – Gin live.

Okay, it looks the revolting Moonites are dumber than even I thought, and I thought they were pretty dumb before. Unless they told Sloe-Gin that the only way she lives is if she lures Tracy and and the MoonGuvBassador into a trap.

NO NO NO… ALL WRONG… you are NOT going to tell me that the faction executes Marina, her friend expresses shock and outrage at the act, Ro gives warning that this will be HER fate for being her friend and THEN they willingly let her leave to run to Tracy and thorin to inform them of what has transpired at the meeting and what she has witnessed… are you telling me that Ro is THAT stupid as to let her leave?… even when he gave her a warning?… they are NOT and I don’t buy it… they do NOT want to take the chance of the alarm being sounded by someone, who of all people, was a friend to the person who was executed… NO NO NO… sloppy and making no logical sense… Mike straight up messed it up… ALL WRONG…

Is where RoZan’s plan starts to fall apart? With Shay-Gin’s telling Tracy (and, the Ambassor, isn’t that him in the background?) about what Rozan did, and, is trying to do?

and again, Slelley’s art is off the charts today… Sloe-Gin’s expression really conveys the emotion she’s feeling in relating to Dick the loss of her friend… as well as the intensity in Dick’s face as he listens to her… excellent work, more and more, day by day…

I’m glad Shay-Gin managed to escape! I really really hope the Ambassador has a good sense of who is loyal to him because the time for careful analysis is surely past!

“They killed Marina! I saw it all”! In his mind, I hope Tracy realizes he has no authority in Moon Valley, henceforth no power to arrest anybody. Plus with the exception of the Ambassador, he does not have any back-up either.

Marina was zapped or vaporized by the equivalent of a firing squad, how would Tracy know who hit her first?

Next time Honeymoon…just settle for writing a letter or texting your lunar grandfather. It’s a wonder that Dr. Henry Louis Gates was not drawn onto this strip to help find her roots.

How did Roz-An get his important job in the first place?

Probably the same way The Chin Chillars and Bernard Breakdown g ot their jobs with Diet Smith.

She was able to escape!

Oh, i forgot to tell you all….i bot a phone call about a week or so ago (maybe a few days longer) from Walgreens and they asked me to come in for an interview for a “sales associate” position…in the interview, the store manager flat out told me that I’d be wasting my time applying for that position and instead suggested that I apply for the SHIFT LEAD POSITION instead…so I applied, and they hired me at $16.50 an hour AND she said i could split my shift between the store up the street from the Walmart I worked at and the store that’s ten minutes from my house. I passed the drug test, and the email said “tentative start date” of August 18th (tomorrow) but as of right now…2pm on the 17th…I haven’t gotten an email as to when to go in..then my friend reminded me that they’re probably waiting on the background check (I also have to get fingerprinted too so I can go into the pharmacy…so I’m calling them in a few minutes to see what the deal is)

Shelley seems to have put a bit more of a feminine and slender look to Sloe than how she was originally looking when she was first introduced, which was a bit more to her frame along with those ‘thunder-thighs’… I much prefer the way Sloe is drawn in today’s installment… more along the lines of the cute-looking Lunarian woman…

In 1964,one of the first things we saw on the Big Screen TV on the Moon was Red Skelton in his “Freddie The Freeloader” disguise!!

One thing I learned long ago with Mike is to not overthink things, but take what he gives us at face value. Marina got killed because she questioned Rozan in front of his followers. Shay-Gin got away in the commotion, & ran directly to Tracy. Rozan probably doesn’t care what Tracy knows at this point, because he already plans to kill Tracy. RoZan is about to join a very long line of bad guys who underestimate Dick Tracy.

if there’s anything good that comes out of this arc, it’s that every day, it seems to generate discussion, speculation and opinion, positive OR negative, here on the board… and it’s ALL good…

Despite some glaring lapses in its narrative, today’s strip was cool.

Is this “Dick Tracy” or “Alien Nation”? I suppose that with the Artemis missions to the Moon starting up, the Moon People have got to find a new place to live.
