Coffee. Chocolate. The first snowfall. Scuffling thru leaves in the Fall. A kitten purring & waving it’s lil paws with it’e eyes tightly closed. Fat lil puppies & the grunting noise they make. Our Grandpuppers flying out to meet us, squeaking & yipping in delight. The hushing/rushing of sound of rain coming in. When the cicadas crank up the volume for the first time. Opening a new book in a series. Watching an oldie-but-goodie movie.

I can still remember, sooooo long ago, delivering newspapers before daybreak… the freshness of the air, the silence, the world barely coming alive, with the slowly-waking birds, and watching the sun rise over the mountain, and the valley below it. :)

Little things that make me happy: baby animals, Starbucks, reading outside on a nice sunny day, a good movie, coloring with pencil crayons, shopping at antique stores
