they lived in Vancouver B.C. before they went to the concentration camp in the USA so they must of bought their house in Canada back. The Canadian Gov’t didn’t treat Japanese people any better than we did back then.
Sad. He had to buy back what, rightfully, was already his. I read similar stories of Californian Japanese buying back businesses and farms that they had owned before the war.

It wasn’t just a musket it was a flintlock musket, the musket of the Civil war was far more accurate.
