How many besides me have been reading Doonesbury since the 1970s?

JJ reminds one of LuAnn; they both don’t realize how stupid they are!!! And her cohort only thinks of self-gratification!!!

I started reading Dbury when I was in college in the early ‘70s (just a year or two after Trudeau started writing it.) I drifted away from it in the mid- 80’s when I moved to a place where the local papers didn’t carry it. Thank goodness for GoComcs.

I was married to a woman 24-years-older than I for ten years. I never heard any comments but people did occasionally mistake me for her son, as we had similar coloring. She was a “college-girl” of 65, when I met her. We had our problems but the age-difference was not one of them. :)

JJ, consider this. Kim was born into and started out her life in a country trying to recover from a decades long war. Then she was taken to a new country with a completely different culture and a new language she had to learn. She has had a very successfull career which has included working in Paris at least and maybe some other our of the country assignments. Even thoigh the chronological age of Kim is less than yours, Kim is much older and wiser than your immature selfish person.

JJ still doesn’t recognize that SHE poisoned her child against her by leaving her.

I started in the early 70’s .. Living in CT the local papers started covering Doonesbury pretty much from the beginning

and this is where JJ loses all sympathy for this storyline.

The two things an ex hates the most, the replacement is prettier and younger.
