Yeti’s barrel shooting is more efficient than I expected it to be. I don’t see any holes in Tracy’s hat so far, but there’s definitely at least one in Sam’s.

Return fire Sam !!!  No more Ape and Ferret. Well, they were green in this bad guy bizniss anyway and not very bright. They wont come back, I hope. It’s up to Rose to stop this mow down at the hoe down. Does Tracy still have his bullet resistant vest on ?

Yeti doesn’t care who gets hit.

The next strip will likely show Rose giving Yeti a lethal case of lead poisoning…..

Tracy should respond accordingly. Let’s see what happens…

Hopefully, the only one who gets hurt here is Yeti. His complexion may go from stark pallid to cowardly yellow. We know Tracy does not run from a fight. But he does roar back, when threatened.

Why, why, why is Yeti shooting at everyone but the chick aiming a loaded machine pistol at him, and is actually standing the closest to him?

For a change it’s Sam getting one in the hat. Think Tracy will let him put it up on his Wall of Hats?

Wait—Yetis is shooting something OTHER than bullets. What’s the poison going to do to Ape and Ferret?I think that shooting them is something Yeti planned…

So, lets see, he just shot his two flunkies in front of the police, AND he didn’t take out rose and daisy. what could possibly go wrong now?

While Yeti is indulging his John Wick fantasy, we can only hope that Ape & Ferret are able to make like The Matrix and dodge those darts while Sam & Tracy experience a Pulp Fiction moment of mutherf—-ing divine intervention.

Is that another hole in Sam’s Bowler?

I thought Daisy and Rose were closest to Yeti. Shouldn’t they have taken the brunt of the flechettes?

As I predicted yesterday, tongue firmly in cheek, Yeti was able to raise his arm, take aim and shoot all before Rose could simply squeeze a trigger. WTH??? Was her safety on?

Okay, what Yeti is firing is a dart gun. It must be one he created himself, because I’ve never heard of one that can fire multiple rounds, and, eject shells.

Yeti shooting daggers….who will survive and who won’t?

1-AL: Just like I predicted – Rose loves me too much to squeeze the trigger! EAT POISON FLECHETTES, SUCKAAAS

2-APE: _Huh? I thought The Flechettes were a stripper act down at the Booby Hatch? OUCH!

3-FERRET: WE’RE OUTMANNED AND OUTGUNNED – so to speak. OUR BEST BET IS TO DROP OUR GUNS AS TRACY ORDERED!

4-SAM: LOOKS LIKE WE’RE DOOMED, DICK! WE NEVER STOOD A CHANCE!

DT: UGH. Time of death…right now!

SAM: So long old pal.

DT: I’M TALKING ABOUT AL’S DEATH. LAST WARNING AL – DROP…YOUR…WEAPON!

SAM: Seriously? Again?

He looks a little like Rodney Dangerfield there!

Yeti doesn’t waste time:

Rose and Daisy: We’re going to have a conversation before we pull the trigger on you.

Ape and Ferret: We’re not going to shoot you, we’re just going to tell you not to shoot.

Tracy and Sam: Just tell everyone to put their weapons down.

Yeti: BLAM BLAM BLAM

With all the action taking place today, did Rose and Daisy duck under a table? Ferret’s gun must have put a hole through Sam’s hat when it dropped. Those “hair” triggers can be hazardous to one’s health.

In Panel 2, Ape has that Wile E. Coyote “resigned to the inevitable approaching doom” expression on his face.

Did one of Sam’s return shots connect with Ferret? From the second panel, it looks like Ape took one in the neck and one on his cheek.

There’s an antidote for every poison.Here’s hoping somebody remembered to bring one.

Panel 3 will be looked at many different ways.To me,it looks like Ape was running away and got it in the back;and Ferret must have been nicked or shewouldn’t have dropped her gun.

Yeah,the guy who LEAST deserved to get shot got shot.

This happened because Central American natives knew what a stinker Yeti was and refused to sell him a blowgun.

FEAR NOT, guys! Sam’s hat will survive! He got it from Odd Job when he retired. ’Tis but a flesh wound.

Gee, I feel like William Castle. Should Ferret and Ape live or die? Hmmmm.

OK, I’m confused. In P2, Ape is clearly taking flechettes from the front. In P3, they are coming from behind him. But it looks like ole’ Yeti is just firing as fast as he can. So how does Ape have time to turn completely around?

And then Sam removes his hat, attaches a long chain, and wields the feared, legendary flying guillotine (with rubber blades, of course — there are kids reading Daddy’s newspaper, you know).

The epilogue to this story finds Ape in the hospital getting a blood transfusion from Clyde (Tony Shaloub) to counteract the poison. As an unintended side effect, Ape gains all the powers of a giant spider. He also gets OCD.

I’m serious about antidotes.Even The Joker has an antidote to the poison he uses,in case he screws up while he’s making the stuff.

Ferret was standing in front of Sam; Ape in front of Tracy. That’s why Tracy wasn’t hit; any darts going at him hit Ape instead. It looks to me as if Ferret took a couple of hits that would otherwise have gotten Sam. (Which is a pity; I liked her.) But she’s short, so one dart went over her head and hit Sam in the hat. Previous strips showed Daisy scrambling for cover, so he’s probably OK. Why Yeti didn’t shoot Rose has me baffled. Anyway, that’s how I read it.

An exciting strip, but a slightly confusing one … Yeti seems to be shooting one of his own people, who seemingly had the drop on Daisy, who had the drop on him. You’d think Daisy would either pull the trigger & shoot Yeti the nanosecond she saw him raise his gun, or else hit the deck & open fire. Maybe Yeti shot Daisy in-between yesterday’s & today’s strip, but again, why is he shooting his own people? I think Mark & Shelly crammed too many characters into this shoot-out for their own good.

Holy moly! Or should I say hole-y? Never before saw a dart gun that could fire multiple rounds on full automatic like Yeti’s Yikes!

Was poor, dumb Ape able to turn back to the tunnel and avoid that volley? What about Ferret? Or Tracy and Sam? So far, no confirmed hits, but I have a feeling that the number left standing after this poison dart firestorm will be diminished. And will Tracy and Sam please return fire?!

Ape has the deer in the headlights look in his eyes. Which isn’t good for him.

I wonder if it is a hybrid weapon of some kind? Instead of lead bullets using a dart?? The compressed air operates the weapon
